PR/096364 | Furniture Merchandiser

Our client is looking for Merchandisers to support product development, production control, quality management, and supplier coordination activities for furniture-related products.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development processes from sampling stage through mass production

• Follow up on samples, materials, specifications, and product requirements

• Coordinate with suppliers and factories regarding production and quality requirements

• Monitor production schedules and delivery timelines

• Conduct quality management and continuous improvement activities

• Communicate and collaborate closely with Japan-based teams

• Manage shipment arrangements and delivery follow-up

• Support supplier relationship management and negotiation activities 

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in the manufacturing industry

• Experience in merchandising, production control, quality management, sourcing, or related functions if preferred 

• Experience coordinating and negotiating with factories and suppliers

• Good command of Microsoft Excel and Word

• Willingness to travel approximately 3-4 times per month

• Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above
