■Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Controlling Reporting Team this role will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting activities of multiple our legal entities. The successful candidate will work closely with other managers within the team to lead month end and year end closing prepare financial reports for both headquarters and local management and manage audits tax filings and ad hoc assignments as required.

■Key Responsibilities
・Manage and supervise 1・2 staff members
・Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and JGAAP
・Lead the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly reporting packages to HQ and local management
・Oversee and coordinate tax filings
・Manage both external and internal audit processes
・Collaborate with finance teams within our business units to enhance financial processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
・Actively participate in the implementation of new systems and the standardization of financial processes

■Qualifications
・Bachelor’s degree in Finance Business or a related field or an advanced accounting qualification （equivalent to Japanese Nissho Bookkeeping Level 1 or higher）
・Professional certification such as CPA or licensed tax accountant is a plus
・At least 7 years of accounting experience
・Experience in a multinational company accounting firm or tax accounting firm is preferred
・Business level proficiency in Japanese （both spoken and written） is required
・Business level proficiency in English （both spoken and written） is required
・Strong Excel and systems skills
・Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
・Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
