Our client is a well-established Japanese manufacturing company specializing in precision plastic components and decorative solutions for the automotive and electrical appliance industries. As part of its ongoing business expansion and organizational development, the company is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Executive to join its growing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and expand new business opportunities in both local and international markets.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term business partnerships.

• Identify potential customers, conduct market research and explore new business opportunities.

• Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up on sales activities.

• Coordinate closely with internal departments, including production, quality and engineering teams, to meet customer requirements.

• Attend customer meetings, business discussions and site visits as required.

• Travel domestically for customer visits and business development activities, with occasional overseas travel when necessary.

• Work closely with and report directly to the Japanese Senior Sales Manager.

• Gradually take on greater responsibilities and develop the capability to manage sales activities independently.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or any related discipline.

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with relevant working experience are also welcome.

• Prior sales or business development experience will be an added advantage.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly automotive components or plastic injection moulding, is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to liaise with local and international customers.

• Basic conversational Japanese will be an added advantage but is not compulsory.

• Outgoing, cheerful, friendly and confident personality with strong interpersonal skills.

• Proactive, self-motivated and willing to learn, with a positive working attitude.

• Good numerical aptitude and comfortable handling basic calculations and quotations.

• Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel frequently for business purposes.

• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multicultural working environment.
