POSITION TITLE　QA Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team while fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Define and execute QA strategies, processes, and testing methodologies to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and quality metrics aligned with product requirements and business objectives.
• Drive test automation initiatives and improve QA tooling to increase efficiency, coverage, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to review requirements, identify risks, and ensure testability throughout the development lifecycle.
• Oversee testing activities across mobile applications, backend services, APIs, and connected hardware environments.
• Coordinate cross-functional testing efforts with internal teams, external partners, and third-party vendors as needed.
• Monitor quality metrics, testing progress, and release readiness, providing regular updates and recommendations to leadership.
• Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices to support organizational growth and product excellence.
• Ensure products and testing activities comply with applicable industry standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support planning and execution of hardware-integrated testing and validation activities to ensure consistent end-user experiences across connected systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and end-to-end testing methodologies
• Proven experience leading QA teams and overseeing testing strategies for both software and hardware products
• Hands-on experience with mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms
• Expertise in test automation development and maintenance for mobile applications
• Experience developing test plans, driving quality initiatives, and improving QA processes and standard

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of communication protocols and system-level integration testing
• Familiarity with Agile development environments and QA best practices
• Experience with wireless connectivity testing and validation
• Professional QA certifications or equivalent quality engineering credentials
• Background supporting automated testing, product reliability, and system performance validation
   

LOCATION　South Bay, Silicon Valley area 

WORK ARRANGEMENT　Hybrid

SALARY　USD 170,000-185,000 Base + bonus 10-15%
