About the Role
The Accounting Manager role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance while leading a small team. This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced accounting professional who enjoys both management and operational responsibilities. 

Responsibilities

• Accounting tasks:

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations.

  • Analysis of accounting data upon request.

  • Do internal report, financial reports, budget.

  • Deal with to auditors and relevant authorities.

  • Be responsible for providing guidance and support to accountant staffs.

  • Work with relevant departments on issues related to tax and accounting.

  • Work with banks on loan matters

  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor or MD.

• Tax-related issues:

  • Corporate tax issues

  • VAT-related issues

  • Foreign contractor tax, business tax.

  • Transfer pricing issues

  • Global Minimum tax

  • PIT-related experiences is an advantage.

  • Deal with tax authorities

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience in accounting, including financial reporting and tax matters.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a general accountant position or the management position.

• Experience in accounting at a trading company (wholesale business) is preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

• Good English communication skills.

• Japanese is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

• Experience with IFRS, ERP systems, or a Chief Accountant Certificate would be advantageous.

• A candidate who can perform not only as a manager but also as an individual contributor
