A leading global internet and communications platform company is looking for a talented Backend Engineer to develop and operate the core messaging platform used by users around the world.

Responsibilities:
-Design and implement server-side features and internal APIs that power the messaging platform, which handles tens of billions of messages a day
-Design and implement robust data structures for large-scale data, with a focus on distributed processing, fault tolerance and scalability
-Work with multiple teams to improve the reliability, scalability and observability of backend services
-Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD workflows, test coverage and system monitoring
-Maintain and develop new features for a real-time messaging platform, with performance, security and future growth in mind
-Contribute to the long-term architecture and platform strategy as business requirements evolve
-Take part in on-call duties for specific components

Working Hours: Flextime with no core time (standard hours 9:30 AM – 6:15 PM)

勤務時間： フレックスタイム制（コアタイムなし、標準労働時間は9:30～18:15）

-3+ years of hands-on experience in server-side development
-Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, such as algorithms, data structures, networking and concurrency
-Experience developing in a team
-Business level Japanese or English (both are not required)
-Interest in solving complex, large-scale distributed systems problems, with strong critical thinking and ownership
