Company Overview

Our client is a Malaysian property development group with a strong presence in Northern Malaysia, particularly in Perak, Penang, and Kedah. The group has been involved in property development since 1989 and focuses on residential, commercial, industrial, and integrated township developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with banks, auditor, co sec and solicitors on banking facility applications, loan documentation and operational matters.

• Create and monitor project cash flow forecasts and funding requirements.

• Monitor loan facilities including rollovers, covenants compliance and repayment schedules.

• Prepare and update financing reports for management.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in property development or construction industries

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.

• Min 5y working experience in banking front-end or credit team, or in accounting & finance function for an asset-heavy company.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia languages. 

• Proficient in Microsoft excel and financial modelling/ cash flow forecasting. 

• Ideally experience as banking Relationship Manager or in Finance function in company.

• Ability to work independently in changing and multi-tasking environment.
