PR/161111 | Senior Manufacturing Engineer

A global technology company that develops advanced process equipment and solutions enabling innovation across the semiconductor, compound semiconductor, data storage, and scientific research industries is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end transfer, industrialization, and production readiness of complex products within the Contract Manufacturing (CM) network. You will serve as the technical lead for manufacturing strategy, factory readiness, process development, and production ramp-up, ensuring successful execution from product introduction through stable and scalable manufacturing.
The ideal candidate combines deep manufacturing engineering expertise with strong cross-functional leadership skills and a proven track record of driving product transfers, process optimization, and operational excellence across global manufacturing sites. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, results-oriented, and passionate about building scalable manufacturing solutions that support business growth and customer success.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product transfer, NPI, and industrialization activities across Contract Manufacturing (CM) sites.

• Drive manufacturing readiness, including process development, capacity planning, equipment qualification, and production ramp-up.

• Develop and optimize scalable manufacturing processes to achieve quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets.

• Lead process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, GR&R).

• Own production performance metrics including yield, throughput, cycle time, quality, and cost.

• Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide DFM/DFA/DFT input during product development and design reviews.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and CM partners to ensure successful program execution.

• Support ECO/ECN implementation, site transfers, second-source qualifications, and manufacturing expansion projects.

• Champion Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
   

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience in NPI, product transfer, industrialization, and production ramp-up.

• Experience working with Contract Manufacturers (CM), EMS, semiconductor equipment, precision instruments, or complex electromechanical products.

• Strong knowledge of process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and GR&R.

• Experience with manufacturing systems such as ERP, MRP, MES, and PLM.

• Hands-on experience in process development, automation, equipment qualification, and manufacturing scale-up.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.

• Experience supporting global manufacturing operations and site-to-site transfers is highly desirable.
