POSITION SUMMARY
Join a well-established food company as a Compliance Associate. This role offers the opportunity to support product compliance and regulatory activities for products distributed throughout North America. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance while gaining valuable exposure to the food industry, product control, and international business operations.

• Review product labeling, ingredients, and product claims to ensure compliance with FDA and other applicable regulatory requirements.

• Support regulatory compliance activities for products distributed throughout North America, including label reviews and product research.

• Monitor regulatory updates and coordinate with internal stakeholders to implement new compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.

• Assist with FDA, customer, and third-party audits, as well as product investigations and customer complaint resolution.

• Maintain compliance-related certifications, registrations, and licenses, ensuring required documentation remains current and compliant.

• Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, including the FDA, while supporting overall food safety and product compliance initiatives.

• Associate’s degree or higher in Food Science, Nutrition, Biological Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent regulatory experience.

• 1+ year of experience in a regulatory, compliance, quality assurance, or food safety role within the food industry.

• Working knowledge of FDA and/or USDA regulations, food labeling requirements, and ingredient compliance preferred.

• Understanding of food ingredients, food processing, and food manufacturing practices.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external suppliers.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
