Japanese Bi-lingual System Engineer (A)

BMS (Battery Management system)

Experience, Qualifications and skills Needed: 
•    Bachelor’s/master’s in electrical engineering, or related field.
•    Experience of 3 to 4 years in Battery Management Systems (BMS), High Voltage test benches, and Power electronics validation.
•    Strong understanding of BMS system architecture, and software validation.
•    Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 or higher) and English (business level).
•    Hands-on experience with HV HIL setups and real-time test environments.
•    Experience on BMS architecture validation, ensuring seamless integration of hardware and software.
•    Experience on Overall Battery Management System features, cell balancing, SOC/SOH estimation, and contactor control.
•    Collaborate with Japanese OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to define and develop BMS system requirements.
•    Proficiency in C Programming, Vector CAN Tools.
•    Expertise in CAN communication, diagnostics, and fault analysis.
•    Experience in developing automated test frameworks for embedded systems.
•    Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
•    Experience in SW Debugging and Usage of Emulators and Debuggers.
•    Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and ASPICE.
•    Support project management activities including schedule tracking, reporting, and client communication.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and validation engineers.
•    Translate technical documents and specifications between Japanese and English

求められる経験・資格・スキル

• 電気工学、電気電子工学、または関連分野の学士号／修士号。

• BMS（バッテリーマネジメントシステム）、高電圧（HV）テストベンチ、パワーエレクトロニクスの評価・検証において、3～4年以上の実務経験。

• BMSのシステムアーキテクチャおよびソフトウェア検証に関する深い知識。

• 日本語：JLPT N3以上、英語：ビジネスレベル。

• HV HIL（Hardware-in-the-Loop）環境およびリアルタイムテスト環境での実務経験。

• BMSアーキテクチャの検証、およびハードウェアとソフトウェアのシームレスな統合に関する経験。

• BMSの主要機能に関する知識・経験：

  • セルバランシング

  • SOC（State of Charge：充電状態）推定

  • SOH（State of Health：健全性）推定

  • コンタクタ制御

• 日本の自動車OEMおよびTier-1サプライヤーと連携し、BMSシステム要件の定義・開発を行った経験。

• C言語およびVector CANツールの使用経験。

• CAN通信、診断、故障解析に関する専門知識。

• 組込みシステム向け自動テストフレームワークの開発経験。

• 高い分析力、デバッグ能力、および技術文書作成能力。

• ソフトウェアデバッグ、エミュレータおよびデバッガの使用経験。

• ISO 26262、AUTOSAR、ASPICEなどの自動車業界標準・規格への対応経験。

• プロジェクトマネジメント業務のサポート経験（スケジュール管理、進捗報告、クライアントとのコミュニケーションなど）。

• ハードウェア、ソフトウェア、検証エンジニアなど、複数の部門・チームと連携した経験。

• 日本語・英語間での技術文書および仕様書の翻訳経験。
