Company Overview

A company in the manufacturing industry is hiring for a Legal Counsel position. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lawyer to join a dynamic company and provide high-quality legal support across Vietnam and Asia and Oceania.

Job Description

• Advise management and business teams on corporate, commercial, labor and compliance matters.

• Review, draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.

• Support legal matters related to operations, sourcing, transportation, sales and distribution.

• Monitor legal and regulatory changes and advise the business on potential risks.

• Develop and improve legal templates, policies and processes.

• Provide practical legal solutions while considering business needs.

• Work with legal teams and senior stakeholders across different countries.

Qualifications

• Valid licence to practice law in Vietnam.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant legal experience. Experience working in a multinational and/or manufacturing organization is an asset.

• Advanced knowledge of Vietnamese civil, commercial, and labor law.

• Ability to translate legal concepts into practical and actionable advice.

• Bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese and English, both verbal and written. Chinese fluency is an asset.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments within tight timeframes.
