Designation-Group Leader SCM-Store

Location- Bechraji, Gujarat

Job Responsibility: 

• Develop and implement process for improvement in material management (Receiving to issuance)

• Periodic review and reconciliation of Material Procurement/Inventory.

• Develop and Maintain Inventory levels as per the forecasts to eliminate over inventory, Obsolete parts management & Build out plans.

• Develop and maintain standards for special parts handling (High value items/Import parts).

• Plan and allocate manpower for daily Stores operations, monitor work performance and ensure effective utilization of resources.

• Develop and implement standards of material handling (FIFO, Traceability, Kanban, Shelf life item monitoring).

• Ensure effective planning, budgeting of material handling equipment, consumables, PPE, stationery, packaging and forwarding requirement

• Good know-how of job work, Export and Import shipment handling, packaging Standards, MSDS & Lead time Management.

• Scrap Handling & disposal, Reconciliation between scrap generation vs disposal

• Maintain and develop a safe working environment (Safety first mindset, 5S, 3G, layout management, training and skill upgradation). 

• Strong knowledge of Stores & Inventory Management and material flow processes.

• Working knowledge of SAP MM module, Supplier Portal and MS Office.

• Good understanding of BOP/SKU handling, FIFO, Kanban, traceability and inventory control.

• Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
