Role Purpose

Lead procurement of Raw Materials, Stamping Parts, and Bought-Out Parts (BOP) to ensure uninterrupted supply, cost optimization, supplier performance, and successful execution of new projects. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement of direct materials. 

• Handle RFQs, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and cost analysis for new projects. 

• Drive Cost Reduction (CR) and VA/VE initiatives to achieve annual savings targets. 

• Develop and monitor supplier performance through QCDD parameters. 

• Lead supplier development, localization, and capacity enhancement activities. 

• Prepare procurement budgets, forecasts, MIS reports, and management dashboards. 

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Finance teams for smooth operations and project launches. 

• Mentor team members and drive continuous process improvements. 

Required Skills

• Strong experience in automotive purchasing and vendor management.

• Expertise in sourcing, cost negotiation, supplier development, and contract management.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.

• Proficient in SAP/ERP systems, Advanced Excel, and Power BI.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

• Zero production disruption due to material shortages.

• Achievement of annual cost-saving targets.

• Timely RFQ closure and supplier readiness for new projects.
