AI Product & Delivery Lead

We are seeking a client-facing AI Product & Delivery Lead to help enterprise clients in Japan turn generative AI opportunities into scalable products. Sitting at the intersection of AI strategy, product management, and technical delivery, you will lead discovery workshops, shape product roadmaps, and personally validate ideas through rapid prototyping.

You are not just presenting trends; you partner closely with client executives and global engineering teams to move initiatives from initial proof-of-concept into secure, production-grade deployments.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the product vision, MVP scoping, roadmap planning, and success metrics for client AI initiatives

• Discovery & Workshops: Lead client discovery sessions, executive workshops, and stakeholder interviews to identify and prioritize AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, and risk

• Hands-on Prototyping: Personally build rapid prototypes and evaluate generative AI solutions utilizing model APIs, low-code tools, and agent orchestration frameworks

• Production Delivery: Partner with architects and engineering teams to guide AI solutions through security reviews, cloud integration, production launch, and user adoption

• Global Collaboration: Act as the strategic bridge between local Japanese enterprise stakeholders and regional/global product and engineering teams

• Commercial Support: Contribute technical and product insights to pre-sales materials, proposals, and project estimation

Requirements

• Consulting Delivery Background: 7+ years of client-facing experience within a technology consulting firm, systems integrator, digital agency, or technology services organization

• Product Ownership: Proven capability in defining product roadmaps, prioritization, and outcome measurement

• GenAI & Agentic AI Familiarity: Hands-on experience experimenting with or prototyping AI applications. Solid understanding of RAG, vector search, and agentic workflows (including tool use, memory, and human-in-the-loop oversight)

• Production Exposure: Experience moving digital or AI initiatives from discovery through engineering delivery and into secure production environments

• Technical Credibility: Strong foundational understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, data security, and agile software development to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects

• Bilingual Communication: Native-level Japanese (or JLPT N1) and fluent business-level English

Nice to have

• Experience with AI evaluation, guardrails, observability, or enterprise AI governance

• Experience working with globally distributed or international engineering teams

• Academic or professional experience outside of Japan
