Position Highlights

• BI system maintenance & development for the automotive industry
• Future lead/coordinator role for incident management
• Global exposure with overseas teams
• Broad technical environment: AWS, Linux, Oracle, Power BI & Snowflake
   

Tasks & Responsibilites

• Primarily maintain and support information systems.
• Investigate and respond to customer inquiries.
• Perform system modifications based on customer requests.
• Create procedures for environment migration and setup, and carry out version upgrades.
• Depending on the area of responsibility, participate in meetings with overseas customers.
  (Currently, the existing team members speak only Japanese.)
• Tasks are expected to be divided among multiple team members.
• In the future, take a coordinating/lead role in incident triage, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Act as a bridge and participate in meetings with overseas offices.
   

Technical Environment

• OS: Linux, Windows
• Databases: Oracle, Snowflake, etc.
• Languages: Bash, C Shell, Pro*C, VB6, etc.
• Tools: AWS, DataSpider, HULFT, Power BI, Yellowfin, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

• You will be expected to take a coordinating role in handling system incidents and related matters after several months.
• Experience in IT system development or system maintenance/support.
• Ability to work effectively while communicating with those around you.
• Ability to ask questions and consult with others when something is unclear.
   

Preferred Skills

• English conversation skills (everyday conversational level is acceptable).
•  Technical skills: Linux, databases (Oracle, etc.), AWS, DataSpider, HULFT, Pro*C, VB6, Power BI, Yellowfin.
