Full-Stack Technical Consultant | Tokyo

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer / Technical Consultant who can combine hands-on development with business requirements, customer communication and solution design.

Role & Responsibilities

• Work with Japanese business stakeholders to understand business challenges and requirements
• Translate business ideas into PoC / MVP solutions
• Design and develop full-stack applications, APIs and cloud-based solutions
• Apply AI / GenAI, automation or other emerging technologies where appropriate
• Prepare solution architecture, data flow and integration approaches
• Coordinate with offshore engineering teams and internal stakeholders
• Present prototypes/demos to customers and incorporate feedback

Requirements

• 7–10 years of Full-Stack / Software Development experience
• Strong experience across Front-end and Back-end development
• Experience with technologies such as React / Next.js / TypeScript, Node.js / Python
• Experience with APIs, databases and cloud technologies
• Experience in Retail / E-commerce / Consumer-facing projects
• Experience in business requirements, consulting, solution design or customer-facing roles
• Experience developing PoC / Prototype / MVP / Demo solutions
• Practical exposure to AI / GenAI / ML / automation
• Japanese communication skills at N1/N2 level or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
