Systems/Infrastructure Engineer | NO JAPANESE NEEDED!

A senior-level opening for someone who wants ownership over the systems underpinning a fast-moving trading environment. You'll sit between engineering, infrastructure, and the trading desk; building the automation and tooling that keep critical platforms fast, stable, and secure. Strong mentorship component: you'll be a technical anchor for junior engineers, not just an IC.

What You'll Own

1. Automation & tooling: Python-driven automation across trading/data platforms, plus Bash for system-level administration and monitoring.
2. Reliability & performance: troubleshooting latency and uptime issues in production, running post-incident reviews, and closing the loop with long-term fixes.
3. Infrastructure leadership: driving upgrades, patching, and security/compliance alignment across a hybrid on-prem/cloud footprint.
4. Cross-functional delivery: working directly with developers, traders, and DevOps to keep data flowing cleanly between internal and external systems.

Requirements

• Solid background as a Systems Engineer or Core Applications Engineer on high-performance or data-intensive systems
• Strong Python (automation/tooling) and advanced Bash
• Comfort with CI/CD, version control, and modern deployment practices
• Working knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and hybrid cloud
• A security-first mindset (encryption, auth, access control)
• The communication chops to translate between technical and business stakeholders

Desired

• Financial systems / trading infra / low-latency environment experience
• AWS Solutions Architect, Linux+, or similar
• AWS, Azure, or GCP exposure
