Mandatory: 

・3-5 years of experience as a machine tool operator, CNC machining technician, application engineer, or service engineer. 

・Hands-on experience in machining operations, machine setup, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tools.

Preferred: 

・Experience with Japanese machine tool brands, customer support activities, machine installation, commissioning, and distributor coordination.

Job Location

Chakan Area, Pune, Maharashtra, India. 

Resident engineer stationed at distributor premises where demo and inventory machines are installed.

Reason for hiring for this role

To establish and strengthen technical support operations in Pune as the company expands its customer base and machine installations in India. 

The position will serve as the primary technical contact for machine operation support, installation, troubleshooting, after-sales service, and application engineering activities.

Job Description

• Provide application engineering and technical service support for CNC machine tools. 
• Operate machines and demonstrate machining processes for customers and distributors. 
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support. 
• Attend machine installation, commissioning, alignment, testing, and start-up activities at customer sites. 
• Support process optimization and machining applications to improve customer productivity. 
• Manage inventory machines stationed at the distributor location, including basic inventory control and maintenance planning. 
• Travel extensively across India to support customers in Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune region, Gujarat, Delhi NCR, and other industrial locations. 
• Accompany distributor sales teams during customer visits and provide technical consultations, product demonstrations, and pre-sales support. 
• Prepare service reports, installation records, and technical documentation. 
• Coordinate with Japan headquarters and overseas teams regarding technical issues, training, and customer requirements. 
• Participate in technical training programs in Japan and apply learned knowledge in Indian Market
