Location: Da Nang, Vietnam 

A growing technology organization is seeking a Project Leader / Bridge System Engineer (BrSE) to lead software development projects, manage Japanese client engagement, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions across various business domains.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead software development projects from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives.

• Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation strategies, and delivery roadmaps.

• Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks, issues, and change requests.

• Serve as the primary communication bridge between Japanese clients and offshore development teams

• Facilitate requirement gathering, project discussions, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.

• Conduct project presentations, status updates, and negotiations in Japanese.

• Lead and mentor project team members to drive performance and professional growth.

• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.

   

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2+ level 

• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development projects.

• At least 2 years of experience as a BrSE, Project Leader, Team Leader, or similar role supporting Japanese clients.

• Proven experience in project planning, estimation, resource management, quality control, and risk management.

• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Experience working with either Waterfall or Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience in web application development.

• Hands-on technical exposure to technologies such as Java (Spring Framework) and Angular.

• Nice to have: Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or related domains.
