PR/147227 | LOGISTICS ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER (with Food Manufacturing)

Company Overview 

Our client is an established food manufacturing in Johor Bahru. They are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead logistics and warehouse operations, including internal and external warehouses, inventory control, and import/export activities. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, operational excellence, compliance, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Lead and manage logistics and warehouse operations.

• Oversee internal and external warehouse activities, inventory accuracy, FIFO/FEFO, and material traceability.

• Manage import and export processes, customs compliance, and shipment documentation.

• Develop and enforce logistics and warehouse SOPs.

• Monitor logistics KPIs, warehouse utilization, and cost efficiency.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors, logistics officers, storekeepers, and operators.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, QA, and QC to support operational requirements.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and warehouse governance.

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.

•  Minimum 5 years of department-level leadership experience in logistics and warehouse operations.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and import/export processes.

•  Strong leadership, planning, and decision-making skills.
  Good command of English.
