• Responsible for the respective KPI, QCDS (Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety) 

• Oversee daily operations of Engineering & Production to meet the KPI (OTD, OEE, Process Yield, Machine Down Time / Manpower Utilization), ensure maximum efficiency and productivity 

• Develop continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects focusing on cost reduction, yield improvement, CPK improvement, process optimization, cycle time improvement and new parts evaluation / qualification. 

• Lead new product development to ensure SOP, training, jigs, and tools are available for producing new products. 

• Ensure production adheres to health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of workers 

• Monitor workers’ work performance, discipline and attendance and take necessary disciplinary action with HR advice. 

• Monitor inventory levels and adjusting production accordingly to avoid overproduction. 

• Implements, coordinates and monitors production schedules and workflow activities from time of release to delivery of completed finished product.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Metal Fabrication) or equivalent. 

• Min 10 years of related working experiences and 5 years of experience at managerial level in manufacturing industry, with exposure in die casting and injection molding. 

• Knowledgeable with experience of ISO standards requirement. 

• Good organizational and analytical skill to ensure work processes carried out by subordinates are efficient and effective. 

• Experience in production planning.
