Bilingual Junior SAP Consultant MM

Bilingual: Japanese (Business Level) and English (Business Level)

We are looking for a Junior SAP MM Consultant to support SAP implementation and support projects. The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) processes and be fluent in both Japanese and English. The role involves supporting business users, translating business requirements, coordinating with global teams, and assisting in SAP MM configuration, testing, and support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support SAP MM implementation, enhancement, and maintenance activities.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements between Japanese and English.
• Assist in SAP MM configuration and testing activities.
• Support procurement and inventory management processes within SAP.
• Assist in Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Verification (IV), and Vendor Master activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and user training materials.
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production support activities.
• Coordinate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to resolve issues.
• Support master data maintenance and data validation activities.
• Provide end-user support and conduct knowledge transfer sessions when required.
• Work closely with FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM teams to support integrated business processes. 

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of SAP MM experience.
• Basic understanding of SAP Materials Management processes.
• Knowledge of Procurement, Inventory Management, Purchasing, and Vendor Management.
• Experience supporting SAP implementation, rollout, or AMS projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English.
• Experience translating business and technical discussions between Japanese and English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP MM Certification is an added advantage.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of integration between SAP MM and FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM modules.
• Prior experience working with Japanese customers or in a Japanese business environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing industry business processes is preferred.
