Role Overview

Warehouse/shop‑floor automation, material handling – Installation, Operation & Maintenance  

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor coordination: Track deliverables (layout, navigation, fleet manager config, charging, safety) and enforce timelines/quality.

• Project execution: Support site readiness, floor/path setup, network/Wi‑Fi checks, safety device installation, trials, and validations.

• Commissioning & testing: Participate in necessary Acceptance test, verify missions, docking accuracy, obstacle handling, and stability.

• Operations (post go‑live): Monitor fleet, manage missions/task queues, resolve blockages, analyze errors/logs, drive uptime.

• Integration support: Coordinate IT, Vendor and interfaces

• Safety & compliance: Adhere ad perform routine checks (scanners, E‑stops, bumpers).

• Training & documentation: Create SOPs, one‑point lessons, and maintain as‑built and test records. 

• Should be able to Program PLC for Equipment Automation & Troubleshooting.

• Should implement Kaizens for improving quality and cycle time.

• Attend the equipment breakdown and be able to take Corrective and Preventive action.

• Should take care of making maintenance report as per the schedule.

• Should make monthly report for breakdown and along with why-why analysis.

• Should take care of Spare parts monitoring.

• Should maintain confidentiality when dealing with technology and confidential designs.
