Role: Group Finance Manager (APAC)

Company: A leading multinational consumer products company with a strong presence across APAC, known for its innovation, rapid growth, and dynamic business environment.

Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager to support the regional finance function across APAC. Reporting to the Finance Controller, this role will be responsible for group consolidation, intercompany accounting, financial operations oversight, internal controls, process improvement initiatives, and finance transformation projects. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and finance teams across multiple markets to drive operational excellence and support the company's continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead regional financial consolidation and support group financial reporting requirements.

• Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, foreign currency translation, and group-level adjustments.

• Oversee finance operations, including month-end close, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax-related activities.

• Supervise and mentor regional/shared services finance team members.

• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and compliance standards across the region.

• Support ERP implementation, system enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives.

• Assist with new market entry activities, including financial setup and regulatory considerations.

• Coordinate tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex finance-related matters and improve processes.

• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement projects across the finance function.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a professional accounting qualification preferred.

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in group finance, consolidation, financial reporting, and finance operations, including team leadership responsibilities.

• Strong understanding of regional tax, statutory, and compliance requirements.

• Experience in implementing financial controls, systems, or process improvement initiatives.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

• Experience supporting regional or multinational operations will be advantageous.
