【Job Responsibilities】

The Advisor, Commercial Finance will serve as a strategic finance business partner for the Food Solutions business across Japan and Korea. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to develop financial strategies, drive financial planning, forecasting, business performance, and capital investment decisions. You will provide financial analysis and commercial insights to support business growth while ensuring effective deployment of capital and continuous improvement across finance processes.

＜Key Accountabilities＞

Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, customer profitability analysis, and business performance management across the assigned business.
Develop financial strategies, analyze key business drivers and performance metrics, and support value creation initiatives.
Build advanced financial models, benchmarking, and business analysis to support commercial and strategic decision making.
Develop financial projections, forecasts, and financial models to support new product development and strategic business initiatives.
Partner with Finance, Commercial, and cross-functional teams to improve collaboration, influence stakeholders, and strengthen business performance.
Lead the planning, governance, and execution of capital investment portfolios aligned with business strategy.
Monitor investment portfolio performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Conduct financial and business analysis to identify improvement opportunities, optimize business performance, and recommend process enhancements.
Present financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders while influencing strategic business decisions.

Advanced expertise in commercial finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), capital investment portfolio management, and business performance analysis.

【Minimum Qualifications】

・Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
・Minimum of six years of relevant work experience (typically reflecting 10+ years of commercial finance or FP&A experience)
・Business-level Japanese and English language skills
・Strong financial planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
・Strong relationship-building and stakeholder influencing skills
・Proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo

・Experience in commercial finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or finance business partnering
・Experience leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, customer profitability analysis, and business performance management
・Experience developing advanced financial models, benchmarking, and strategic business analysis
・Experience managing capital investment portfolios and supporting strategic investment decisions
・Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to deliver financial insights to senior stakeholders
