Seeking an experienced Web Application Engineer for a SaaS company aiming to transform the industry by serving markets both in Japan and globally. This fast growing start-up has already secured multiple major clients and continues to expand its operations.This hiring is to support their expanding operation as well as prepare them for global expansion. The ideal applicants are those who share our vision of using technology to drive transformation in sectors that make a significant social impact, such as decarbonization and renewable energy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful applicant will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and operation of this company’s original SaaS service, and its related new services. Main responsibilities are as listed below, but please keep in mind that the scope of responsibilities will be determined based on the successful applicant’s experience and career interests.

• Requirement definition, design, implementation, testing, and release of new features
• Improvement of existing features, performance tuning, and addressing technical debt
• Architectural design improvements focusing on scalability and reliability
• Building, operating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure)
• Improving development processes, promoting automation, providing technical support to team members, and conducting code reviews

【Technology】

• Backend: C#, FW: ASP.net Core   | Frontend: Typescript, FW: React 
• Infrastructure: Azure, DB: SQL

[Requirements]

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid Web application development experience, using C#, .NET
• Solid Database design and implementation experience using Entity Framework Core or similar technologies.
• Development experience and automated test implementation experience within cloud environments, such as Azure

[Nice-to-Have]

• Experience building Azure infrastructure and utilizing Azure DevOps
• Understanding of design principles such as DDD, Clean Architecture, and CQRS
• Experience with frontend development (e.g., React) 
• Japanese language proficiency
