PR/160827 | Senior Solutions Engineer (Steam Turbine)

Our client is a well-established Japanese engineering MNC specializing in power generation solutions across ASEAN region. Due to their business expansion, they are now looking for an experienced Steam Turbine Solution Engineer to support regional retrofit, upgrade and modernization projects. 

This role is ideal for engineers with strong hands-on knowledge of steam turbine systems, proposal engineering and technical solution development 

Key Responsibilities: - 

• Develop technical and commercial solutions for steam turbine retrofit, upgrade, overhaul, rewinding and replacement projects

• Work closely with customers to understand their steam turbine operation, performance challenges and plant requirements

• Prepare technical proposals, costing, quotations and tender submissions 

• Provide engineering solutions to improve turbine efficiency, reliability and plant lifecycle 

• Coordinate with regional engineering teams, sales and global technical experts throughout project execution 

• Deliver technical presentations and support customer discussions across the ASEAN region

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• 10 - 15 years of experience in Steam Turbine engineering within thermal power plants 

• Strong technical knowledge of: 

  - Steam Turbines

  - Turbine Rotor 

  - Turbine Blades 

  - Turbine Casing 

  - Turbine Auxiliaries 

  - Turbine Performance 

• Hands on experience in retrofit, upgrade, overhaul, life extension, modernization or aftermarket projects 

• Experience preparing technical proposals or providing engineering solutions for turbine projects 

• Able to communicate confidently with customers and internal engineering teams 

• Willing to travel within ASEAN
