A leading multinational company in the Consumer Electronics and Computer Accessories Industry is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team. This role is responsible for conducting regular store visits to maintain shelf standards, executing in-store displays and promotions, managing stock levels, securing repeat orders, and conducting product training.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular store visits according to structured route plans and call cycles.

• Maintain shelf standards, facings, planogram compliance, and product positioning.

• Monitor competitor pricing, shelf placement, and promotional activities.

• Propose and implement merchandising and product zoning improvements.

• Execute in-store promotions and campaign activities.

• Manage POP material inventory and arrange replenishment when needed.

• Conduct regular stock checks, maintain accurate stock records and drive replenishment orders.

• Secure repeat and replenishment orders with store buyers and managers, and coordinate order information with the sales team and back-office team.

• Train retail staff on product features, benefits, and selling points.

• Gather and share market feedback and competitor insights.

• Provide timely updates on stock issues, competitor activities, display status, and orders, and prepare summary reports for management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of merchandising or field sales experience in IT gadgets, consumer electronics, or FMCG.

• Experience dealing directly with retail outlets or similar channels.

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.

• Interest in or knowledge of IT gadgets and consumer electronics.

• Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

• Experience conducting product demonstrations or training sessions is an added advantage.

• Possess own vehicle for store visits.
