Software Engineer English Remote

A technology startup focused on accelerating the transition to a zero-carbon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help drive the development of a cloud-native energy asset platform. The company develops technology that helps organisations optimise the operational and financial performance of renewable energy assets.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud architecture.
Write clean, well-documented, well-tested, and high-performing code.
Participate in code reviews and maintain engineering best practices.
Collaborate closely with development and business teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements

4+ years of production experience with Go or other Strongly Typed programming languages (Java C# Rust Kotlin Swift)
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

Experience architecting, developing, and managing serverless, event-driven applications, preferably on AWS.
Experience with GraphQL.
Experience with Kubernetes.
DevOps and/or Platform Engineering experience.
Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Information Security (Infosec) knowledge.
AWS CDK experience.
Agile software development experience.
