PR/160515 | Manufacturing Engineer (Precision Fabrication)

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing manufacturing processes for quartz products.

Job Descriptions

• Select and implement appropriate manufacturing equipment and tooling. 

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure equipment meets production requirements. 

• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime. 

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to increase efficiency, reduce cost/waste, and improve product quality.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues. 

• Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Quality Tools to monitor and improve processes. 

• Collaborate with the QC team to conduct inspections and resolve quality issues. 

• Develop and prepare reports for project plans, timelines, and budgets.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. 

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. 

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control. 

• Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools. 

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma are highly desirable. 

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. 

• To be able to drive changes and be a change agent.
