【Job Description】

《Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer》

As a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer at RoviSys, you will contribute to software development projects that bridge industrial control systems and enterprise systems. You will design and develop custom software solutions that automate information flow, organize and visualize manufacturing data, and generate reports that support informed business decision-making.

《Key Responsibilities》

• Design and implement industrial software solutions to collect and integrate manufacturing system data.
• Design, develop, and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions.
• Deliver real-time, actionable information to optimize customers' manufacturing processes.
• Participate in gap analysis and user requirements workshops.
• Support the creation of MOPs (Method of Procedure), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and other technical documentation.
• Collaborate with RoviSys engineers, business partners, and customers to successfully deliver projects in a team environment.
• Execute projects in compliance with ISO project management standards.
• Participate in technical training and mentoring programs led by senior RoviSys engineers to continuously develop your skills.

【Required Qualifications】

• Self-motivated with the ability to work proactively and independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaborating with others.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another STEM-related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical design, process control, or industrial automation.
• Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese.
• Programming experience with object-oriented languages and web technologies.
• Understanding of information systems architecture.

【Preferred Qualifications】

• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Programming experience in Python, C++, and/or C#.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) platforms.
• Experience with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
• Experience with industrial integration technologies and protocols, including REST APIs, OPC, OLEDB, SECS/GEM, and Ignition.
