【Job Responsibilities】
The Software Engineer will develop embedded and application software for medical devices, ensuring stable operation, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Design and implement embedded and/or application software for medical devices.
• Develop software in compliance with IEC 62304 (Medical Device Software Lifecycle).
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for system integration.
• Participate in requirements definition, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Support software documentation, change control, and version management.
• Contribute to risk analysis and cybersecurity considerations.

ソフトウェアエンジニアは、医療機器向けの組み込みソフトウェアおよびアプリケーションソフトウェアを開発し、安定した動作、患者の安全、および規制への準拠を確保します。

• 医療機器向けの組み込みソフトウェアおよび／またはアプリケーションソフトウェアを設計・実装する。
• IEC 62304（医療機器ソフトウェアのライフサイクル）に準拠したソフトウェアを開発する。
• システム統合のため、ハードウェアエンジニアと連携する。
• 要件定義、設計レビュー、コードレビューに参加する。
• ソフトウェアのドキュメント作成、変更管理、バージョン管理を支援する。
• リスク分析およびサイバーセキュリティ対策に貢献する。

【Requirements】

• Experience with embedded systems, C language, or medical device software preferred.
• Microcontrollers/Microprocessors proficiency like STM32, NXP, ATSAM etc.
• Communication protocols like UART, I2C, SPI, USB etc.
• Experience with any General RTOS experience preferred
• Understanding of software development in regulated environments.
• Experience working with crossfunctional, international teams is a plus.
• Language proficiency: Japanese (N2/N1), English(Business Level Communication) is preferred and Good to have : Chinese Language capability
• Graduation in Electrical/Electronics/Comp.Science/Equivalent engineering with 5 - 10 years of　experience in the relevant field.
• Language: Japanese Native

• STM32、NXP、ATSAMなどのマイクロコントローラ／マイクロプロセッサに関する知識。

• 一般的なRTOSの経験がある方を優遇します。
• 規制環境下でのソフトウェア開発に関する理解。
• 部門横断的な国際チームでの勤務経験があれば尚可。
• 語学力：日本語（N2/N1）、英語（ビジネスレベルのコミュニケーション能力）が望ましく、中国語能力があれば尚可。
• 電気・電子・コンピュータサイエンスまたは同等の工学分野の学位を取得しており、関連分野で5～10年の実務経験があること。
• 日本語能力：ネイティブレベル
