Our client, Consultancy Based Company, looking for suitable candidates 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Planning and coordinating with department assistant lead or the engineer person-in-charge on project milestones and timeline for distribution voltage connected power system study and protection coordination studies projects.

• Manage department projects and department engineers, with decision making based on priority, and ensuring quality control is done, and deadlines are met.

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 engineers.

• Liaise with client/contractor/supplier or other department engineering lead to resolve blockers and ensure smooth project execution.

• Oversee overall authority liaison and submission (TNB, SESB, ST, SEDA, etc.) application and follow up status by department engineers, ensuring completeness of authority application documents, and timely authority approvals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics or Power System Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 4 years of Power System Studies and/or M&E Consultancy working experience

• It is an advantage for candidate to be familiar with power system analysis software (e.g. PSSE, ETAP, SKM, DIgSILENT, PSCAD or equivalent). In-house training will be provided should candidate is not familiar with power system analysis software
