PR/160523 | QC Manager (Precision / CNC / Automation Manufacturing)

Our client is a newly established manufacturing company in Malaysia, they specialize in custom automation machines in assembling high precision components for global industries including semiconductor electronics, automotive and industrial application.

Due to business expansion, they are now looking for a hands-on strong leadership QC Manager to drive quality excellence, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement in their manufacturing.  
 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Lead and manage overall Quality Control & Assurance functions 

• Develop, implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) 

• Oversee incoming, in process and outgoing quality inspections 

• Handle customer complaints, NCR and corrective actions (8D, CAPA) 

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (yield, defect, reduction, cost of quality) 

• Lead internal & external audits (ISO, customer audits, supplier audits) 

• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Suppliers to resolve quality issues

• Establish quality standards, SOPs, and inspection procedures 

• Monitor KPIs (PPM, Yield Rate, Rejection Rate, etc) 

• Lead, train and develop QC team members 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Quality / Manufacturing or equivalent 

• Minimum 5 - 8 years' experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance 

• Experience in custom automation / machine assembly environment 

• Good command of English is required, and Mandarin speaking is an added advantage as the role sometimes need to interact with Mandarin speaking stakeholder

• At least 2-3 years in managerial / leadership role 

• Experience in precision manufacturing / automation / machining / electronic assembly 

• Strong knowledge of: ISO 9001/ QMS, Root Cause Analysis, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan 

• Experience in handling customer audit (MNC/ Japanese client is advantage) 

• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills 

• Hand on, proactive and able to work under pressure
