Purchasing Assistant Manager (Karawang)

One of our client a Japanese Automotive Parts Manufacturing company which located at Karawang is seeking a highly qualified Purchasing Assistant Manager to join their team. This role is critical in managing purchasing activities, cost analysis, and supplier coordination to support their manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise purchasing activities for automotive parts and materials

Analyze and control market prices to ensure cost competitiveness

Conduct market price comparisons and cost prediction calculations

Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery

Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate new suppliers

Ensure purchasing processes align with Japanese company standards and practices

Support management in purchasing strategy and reporting

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive industry

Strong understanding of automotive parts market prices

Proven ability to perform market price comparison and predictive cost calculations

Solid knowledge of automotive parts and manufacturing materials

Previous working experience in a Japanese company is mandatory

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferably those who live in Karawang or Cikarang area
