COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a leading research institution dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and technological innovation. It focuses on a wide range of disciplines, including biomedical sciences, physical sciences, and engineering.

We are currently looking for a Research Scientist in Embodied AI to lead cutting‑edge research at the intersection of AI, simulation, and physical robotics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead AI‑driven robotics research and translate outcomes into industrial applications.

• Develop algorithms for manipulation, navigation, and adaptive autonomy.

• Build high‑fidelity simulations using Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or similar tools.

• Apply machine learning and deep learning to improve robot control and decision‑making.

• Prototype software solutions using C++/Python and ROS/ROS2.

• Integrate perception systems (vision, force/torque) for robust robot interaction.

• Publish research and contribute to technical documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Software Engineering, or related field.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong skills in C++ and Python; experience with ROS/ROS2.

• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML (e.g. reinforcement or imitation learning).

• Familiarity with robotics simulators, Git, and the software development lifecycle.

• Nice to have: CI/CD, containerisation, systems integration, humanoid robotics, or semiconductor equipment experience.
