Company and Job Overview
Our client, a specialty chemical and advanced materials manufacturer, is looking to hire a Market Development Specialist to drive market research initiatives and enhance their market presence across Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct market research through visits to prospective customers and suppliers, either jointly with trading partners or via direct engagement

• Develop business strategies and identify new business opportunities

• Provide advisory support to drive and enhance sales activities

• Key product portfolio includes Industrial chemicals, high-precision, injection-moulded components, industrial 3D printers and related filaments and heat-shield coatings

• Documentation and reports

   

Job Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in any engineering or chemical-related discipline

• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical B2B sales and/or a strong network in Malaysia’s electronics/semiconductor industry

• Experience working in semiconductor, electronics or OSAT companies is an advantage

• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small, multinational team
