Our client is a well-established multinational construction company with a strong presence in Malaysia and across Asia. The company is involved in the development and construction of large scale industrial, data center and commercial projects, delivering high quality engineering and construction solutions to their clients.  

Location to work: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan 

Job Responsibilities:- 

• Implement and maintain project QA/QC procedures, inspection & Test Plants (ITP), and quality documentation

• Conduct inspections and quality checks on Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) installations works to ensure compliance with project specifications and approved drawings.

• Coordinate site inspections with consultants, clients and subcontractors

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, contractual requirements and applicable regulations 

• Review material submissions, shop drawings, method statements and preventive actions 

• Witness testing and commissioning activities for MEP systems and ensure proper documentation is maintained 

• Prepare and submit QA/QC reports, inspection records and handover documentation 

• Liaise closely with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to resolve quality related issues

• Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO Quality Management System requirements

• Ensure all project quality records are properly maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management or related disciplines 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC functions within construction projects involving MEP works 

• Experience in industrial buildings, manufacturing facilities, data center, warehouse, commercial buildings or large-scale construction project will be highly preferred 

• Familiar with QA/QC procedures, Inspections & Test Plans (ITP), material inspections and commissioning processes 

• Experience handling quality documentation, NCR management and project quality reporting 

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System will be an advantage 

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specification and technical documents

• Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
