COMPANY OVERVIEW
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Factory Operations & Production
Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure output, quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
Support production planning, manpower allocation, and capacity optimisation in line with export commitments.
Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency, yield, and workflow.
Quality, Compliance & Export Standards
Ensure products meet internal quality standards as well as European customer and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, process control, and defect reduction.
Support audits, inspections, and compliance requirements relevant to export markets.
People & Team Management
Supervise and support shopfloor teams, including operators, supervisors, and technical staff.
Assist in manpower planning, training, and performance management.
Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coordination with Group HQ
Act as a key communication bridge between the Malaysia factory and the Group Products team
Implement group policies, technical standards, and production requirements at site level
Provide regular operational updates, production reports, and issue escalation to the Group VP.
Cost Excellence, Safety & Operations
Support cost control initiatives, including material usage, scrap reduction, and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety, housekeeping, and factory discipline standards.
Participate in improvement projects related to equipment, layout, or process optimisation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8–12 years of manufacturing experience, with exposure to factory operations or production management.
Prior experience in export-oriented manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Hands-on leadership experience managing shopfloor teams in a small-to-medium sized plant.
Ability to work with regional stakeholders
Comfortable operating in a matrix reporting environment.
Strong communication skills in English; Mandarin is an added advantage for HQ coordination.
