A leading provider of advanced semiconductor testing solutions, specializing in probe card engineering and wafer-level applications, delivering high-performance and reliable solutions to support modern fabrication and testing environments. We are seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer to serve as a key technical expert, responsible for providing on-site support to customers, performing hands-on probe card testing and validation, analyzing test logs to troubleshoot issues, and ensuring optimal test accuracy and reliability. This role involves working closely with customer engineering teams to optimize probe card performance, resolve complex technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement in wafer-level testing processes while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in production environments.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for probe card applications at wafer fabs and semiconductor test facilities.

• Lead and perform hands-on probe card testing, validation, and qualification to ensure robust and stable test performance.

• Analyze test logs and probing data to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.

• Drive complex troubleshooting and issue resolution on-site, minimizing production downtime.

• Support probe card setup, evaluation, and optimization, ensuring improved yield and test accuracy.

• Conduct probe card validation and reliability assessments to ensure consistent wafer-level performance.

• Act as a technical advisor to customers, providing recommendations for process improvement and test optimization.

• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to provide feedback for continuous improvement of probe card design and performance.

• Prepare comprehensive technical reports, failure analysis, and customer updates following site activities.
   

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Physics, or related field.

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in semiconductor testing, with strong focus on probe cards and wafer-level testing.

• Strong hands-on expertise in:

  • Probe card testing, validation, and qualification

  • Wafer probing / wafer sort / parametric testing

  • Test log analysis, failure diagnosis, and troubleshooting

• Proven ability to independently manage on-site technical challenges and execute solutions in customer environments.

• Familiarity with semiconductor test equipment, probing systems, and production workflows (fab/OSAT).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Customer-oriented mindset with experience in stakeholder management and technical advisory roles.

• Willingness to travel frequently to support regional customers.
