JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct both functional and system-level testing on broadband networking devices. 
• Assist in implementing automated testing using tools like Python, Robot Framework, or Shell scripts.
• Work closely with firmware and software teams to replicate and resolve technical issues.
• Examine logs and network packet data to identify root causes and document defects clearly.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as Ping, Tcpdump, and Wireshark to troubleshoot and analyze issues.
• Perform testing related to system performance, reliability, and interoperability.
• Create and implement detailed test plans, including test cases and regression testing scenarios.

JOB REQUIREMENTS  

• 1+ years of experience in networking, telecom, broadband systems, or product validation.

• Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, routing, and switching.

• Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools 

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related discipline.

• Experience with bug-tracking platforms such as JIRA, Redmine, or similar tools is an advantage.

• Knowledge of networking devices and protocols such as routers, access points, gateways, ONU, broadband CPE, TR-069, or TR-369 is an advantage.
