Job Description

• Provide strategic and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders.

• Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements to support business activities and long-term growth objectives.

• Identify potential legal and compliance risks proactively and recommend effective mitigation strategies.

• Strengthen and oversee compliance frameworks in alignment with Vietnamese regulations and internal governance standards, including internal policies and regulatory requirements.

• Manage licensing, permits, and corporate filings to ensure business continuity and compliance with corporate governance obligations.

• Support data protection and privacy initiatives, including advising on data privacy risks, data processing activities, and cross-border data transfers.

• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders as well as external legal advisors on cross-border projects, regulatory matters, and strategic initiatives.

• Drive improvements in legal operations and approval systems while supporting digital transformation (DX) initiatives to enhance efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree is an advantage.

• Licensed lawyer qualification in Vietnam is preferred.

• 8–10 years of experience in legal roles within multinational companies or reputable law firms.

• Strong experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, and compliance matters, experience in M&A projects is an advantage.

• Proven experience working with regional and global stakeholders on cross-border matters.

• Familiarity with data protection regulations and privacy-related matters is highly preferred.

• Experience coordinating and managing external legal counsel.

• Strong legal drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Business-oriented mindset with a practical and solution-driven approach.

• Strong stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills.

• High level of integrity and professional judgment.

• Fluency in Vietnamese and English.

• Mindset focused on process improvement, system thinking, and openness to technology-driven solutions.

• Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities.
