Location: Mie Prefecture, Japan (On-site)
 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the construction of a large-scale facility in Mie Prefecture.

This is a hands-on, site-based role responsible for supervising electrical installation activities, coordinating contractors, ensuring safety and quality standards, and resolving technical issues during construction. The successful candidate will work closely with international engineering teams and play a key role in delivering a complex industrial project.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical construction activities on-site
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and schematics
• Coordinate contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Support electrical testing, inspections, and pre-commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot site issues and drive practical solutions
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, LOTO, and permit-to-work requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction or industrial facilities
• Strong site-based electrical supervision experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Experience with cable installation, MCCs, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, grounding, and testing activities
• Proven experience managing contractors and coordinating construction activities
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach

Language Requirements

• Business-level English required
• Japanese is a strong advantage but not mandatory
