Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in machine learning and robotics control systems to join an innovative robotics technology company in Tokyo.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development of AI-driven sensing and robotic manipulation systems for advanced automation applications. The role involves developing machine learning solutions for sensor data processing and implementing robotic control systems for real-time manipulation tasks.

Responsibilities

AI / Software Development

• Design and develop AI solutions for advanced sensing systems
• Develop machine learning applications for robotic perception and manipulation
• Implement machine learning algorithms for:
  • object classification
  • motion analysis
  • force and sensor data interpretation
• Optimize system performance using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

Robot Control

• Implement robotic control systems for automation applications
• Work with industrial robot arms and robotic end-effectors
• Integrate sensors into robotic platforms
• Develop real-time robotic applications

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in:

• Software Engineering
• Machine Learning
• Robotics
• Computer Science or a related field
• Strong experience in machine learning development
• Experience in robotic systems and automation
• Experience working with sensor-based systems is preferred

Technical Skills

• PyTorch / TensorFlow
• ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Experience deploying machine learning models in real-time systems
• Experience controlling robotic systems using Python or C++
• Understanding of robotics fundamentals and motion control

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities
