ALM Functional Architect

We are Looking for ALM Functional architect. 

Mandatory Skills  Option 1: Codebeamer ALM
Option 2: Any other ALM
Option 3: Any PLM (Teamcenter/Windchill/etc. with development)
Option 4: System Engineering background

ALM Functional Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ALM functional architecture and solution definition using PTC Codebeamer
• Conduct customer workshops, requirement elicitation, and process mapping sessions
• Define and implement end-to-end traceability frameworks (Requirement → Test → Risk → Evidence)
• Configure Codebeamer at the functional level (trackers, workflows, fields, permissions)
• Drive best practices in: Requirements Management, Test Management & Coverage Analysis and Risk & Change Management
• Provide functional guidance across regulated development environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and present ALM strategies clearly to leadership teams
• Support ALM tool migration initiatives (from legacy tools such as DOORS or Excel)
• Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance frameworks

Qualifications:

Mandatory

• 12-15 years of overall experience with 5+ years in ALM environments
• Strong PTC Codebeamer end-user experience (Requirements, Test, Risk, Traceability)
• Hands-on experience in Codebeamer functional configuration (no scripting required)
• Solid understanding of: Requirements Management, Test Management, Risk & Change Management, and End-to-end traceability definition
• Proven experience conducting customer workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Fluent bilingual proficiency in Japanese(JLPT N2) and English (spoken and written)

Good to Have

• Experience with Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS, Windchill RV&S, or JAMA
• Experience in ALM tool migration projects
• Familiarity with JIRA (functional usage)
• Exposure to PLM concepts (Windchill – EBOM / MBOM overview level)
• Awareness of compliance standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, or ISO 62304
• PTC Codebeamer certifications (Implementation Practitioner / Consultant)

• Experience in Automotive (preferred), Medical Devices, or Aerospace & Defense domain
