Mid-Level Backend Lead | Data Platform Applications

This role leads detailed design and backend development for applications supporting a large-scale data platform. You will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership, influencing architecture and long-term product direction.

Description

• Design and implement robust application and microservices architectures
• Lead and mentor a small team of backend engineers, ensuring high code quality through reviews and best practices
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams
• Contribute to mid- and long-term product and platform vision
• Conduct proof-of-concept activities to evaluate new technologies
• Drive performance optimization, reliability, and security improvements
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments using containers and orchestration tools
