• Act as the strategic HR partner to the Japan leadership team, including the local head of business
• Lead and represent overall HR strategy and operations for Japan
• Translate global HR frameworks into practical, locally compliant implementation
• Ensure robust HR governance and adherence to Japanese labour law
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of HR business partners
• Balance hands-on HR delivery with strategic leadership and stakeholder management
• Communicate Japan-specific HR needs effectively to regional and global HR stakeholders
