Job Responsibilities

• Gather, consolidate, and interpret data from various sources such as internal platforms, operational reports, and user-related datasets to support performance assessment and decision-making.

• Design and maintain data dashboards and visual reports using tools like Google Sheets, Looker Studio, Google Colab, or similar platforms.

• Develop and manage recurring reports and structured datasets to serve multiple stakeholders including product, customer support, sales, and engineering teams.

• Monitor data quality throughout the analysis process to ensure reliability, consistency, and completeness.

• Contribute to improving data pipelines and streamlining data handling processes, including automation initiatives to enhance team efficiency.

• Present analytical findings, insights, and improvement suggestions to supervisors or cross-functional teams, with the ability to communicate in Japanese when required.

Job Requirements

• Japanese language proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or BJT J2 or higher.
  Comfortable working and communicating in a Japanese-speaking professional environment.

• Strong logical thinking skills with a keen interest in numbers, patterns, and data-driven problem solving.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to data accuracy.

• Eagerness to learn and grow professionally in the fields of Data Analysis or Data Science.

• Good teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse departments.

• Entry-level candidates or fresh graduates are welcome if they demonstrate strong potential and analytical mindset.

• Prior exposure to data-related roles such as data analysis, business analysis, or reporting/visualization is an advantage.

• Basic hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is a plus.

• Familiarity with tools and technologies including Excel, Google Sheets, PostgreSQL, or BI platforms like Looker Studio.

• Ability to identify issues from datasets, build reasonable assumptions, and suggest actionable insights.

• Experience with SaaS operations or metrics management (e.g. service health indicators) is highly valued.
