A global and one of the world’s largest Insurance Service provide is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (Azure) to join its Data Management Office (DMO) – SRE team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure reliability, performance, and availability of Azure data platforms (with a strong focus on Azure Synapse)
- Monitor systems, identify issues, and resolve production incidents (P1/P2)
- Troubleshoot across data pipelines, Azure services, and SQL environments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps – YAML)
- Automate operations (monitoring, alerting, recovery, deployments)
- Support releases, changes, and system improvements
- Work closely with engineering teams to improve system stability
- Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to support service reliability

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of technical work experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse (critical requirement)
- Experience as an Azure SRE / Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer
- Solid understanding of Azure data platforms + SQL (Azure SQL / SQL Server)
- Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, YAML)
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
