Job Description

• Lead the development of mid- to long-term global IT strategies covering applications, infrastructure, and security

• Align IT initiatives with overall business strategy and create actionable roadmaps
  Establish and refine IT standards and governance frameworks across regions

• Drive global IT projects, including planning, execution, and progress management

• Coordinate with regional IT teams across headquarters and international locations to ensure alignment and delivery

• Collaborate with external vendors and partners while maintaining oversight and control of project outcomes

• Facilitate cross-functional communication, including reporting to leadership and supporting decision-making through risk and issue analysis

• Build strong relationships with regional teams and promote alignment on IT initiatives

• During the initial period based in Japan, gain hands-on experience with existing systems, governance, and operations while contributing improvement proposals for future global expansion

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in the IT field: 15+ years of experience

• Knowledge and experience in one or more areas such as applications, infrastructure, or security

• Ability to take a holistic view of IT and translate it into strategic initiatives

• Experience managing projects involving multiple stakeholders across different countries

• English and Japanese: business-level proficiency

• Leadership or management experience in any scale of organization or project

• Experience in global IT strategy or IT planning functions is advantageous

• Background in multinational or multi-location IT projects is preferred

• Familiarity with modern IT environments including cloud platforms is beneficial

• Understanding of IT governance and decision-making processes within a corporate setting is a plus

• Strong ability to think from a long-term and organization-wide perspective

• Willingness to engage beyond planning and actively lead execution

• Capability to communicate effectively across cultural differences and act as a bridge between global and local teams
